Watching Diriliş: Ertuğrul (Ertugrul) is better than Hollywood and Bollywood says Dr. Zakir Naik | Facts Lust

Diriliş: Ertuğrul, the one that rivals GoT, is a Turkish historical drama. It reached its peak in a short amount of time. In Pakistan its popularity increased When PM of Pakistan (Imran Khan) wanted Ertugrul Ghazi to be aired on PTV. Many people consulted religious scholars to know if watching Diriliş: Ertuğrul is Halal or Haram.

A fatwa was passed saying it is haram. Many people dislike it they questioned how it is haram. Scholars gave various reasons. One of the best scholars of this time is Dr. Zakir Naik. He said Watching Diriliş: Ertuğrul is haram because:

There are women without hijab in the series, there is music in it, there are certain things in the series which go against a Muslim’s aqeedah so therefore it is not fully permissible in Islam.

Zakir Naik also said that compared to giants it is less haram because it does not involve any kind of kissing or love making scenes:

There are no kissing scenes or love making scenes in the series like those Bollywood or Hollywood films, the bigger harams, but yes, there are certain things which make it Haram. Therefore someone who is not watching Ertugrul, I will say not to watch it because it is Haram.

Dr. Zakir Naik also said that If you are hooked on movies and you can't leave them then you should watch Ertugrul because It is better than watching those completely Haram Hollywood and Bollywood movies.
