On July 09, PTA decided to not lift the ban on PUBG. They said that the decision has been made by the Authority after a detailed hearing conducted in PTA on July 9 on the directions of the Lahore High Court.

PTA further added that it had approached the gaming company to share data about PUBG sessions and users in Pakistan and was waiting for their response.
Since the ban #Pubgunban was trending on social media. Many people protested to unban PUBG in Pakistan. They said that it has been a source of their income.
Minister of Science and Technology twitted that he was against all such bans:
